|What IS a Co-Op?
A Co-op is a place that is owned by the community that offers
goods and services for their needs. Instead of being ran by a
CEO or an owner, the community has a say through the board,
who are all voted in by the Co-op members as to how they want to
see things ran and what they want to see being sold and offered.
Being a member allows for the building of equity within the Co-op.
The rate at which this builds is all dependent on the amount of
purchases made at the Co-op throughout the year.
